You have an unsightly gray steel table that makes it look as if it came from some warehouse. Transform it into a mellow looking pallet and barn wood coffee table by giving it a pallet top. For this top, use good quality pallet wood as it will be bare without paint or wood stain. Measure the size of your steel table. Cut the boards and place them so they make a V-shaped design. Trim edges by sanding them and secure with a frame. This top will be removable so you need the boards to be secured snugly in the frame. Give your pallet table top a good oiled polish for a nice sheen.
